Altstädtische Rittergasse
n. e.
History
From 1624 onwards, the section of Jungferngasse between Burggrafenstraße and Kleine Bäckergasse was called Rittergasse. In the 18th century, to distinguish it from the Main Town's Rittergasse, it was called Altstädtische Rittergasse (Old Town Knights' Lane). However, the old name continued to be used well into the 18th century.
