Kleine Krämergasse

Podkramarska

History

In 1357, the lane is mentioned as "twergasse ante dotem," meaning cross-lane in front of the parish house. In 1377/78, the name "parva platea institorum" (Latin for "small street of the shopkeepers") appears for the first time, though the older designation also still occurs in 1415. Both names were used until at least 1415, after which Kleine Kramergasse (Small Shopkeepers' Lane) prevailed.
