Knüppelgasse

The lane was generally counted as part of the Rähm since the 17th century. Only from 1817 onward does the independent name Knüppelgasse appear. The name derives from the road surface, as the street was paved with wooden logs (Knüppel). Today it is called, in translation, ul. Na Stępcach (On the Logs).
