Langgarter Wall
Długa Grobla
History
The path running behind the bastions was originally simply called "Am Wall" (At the Rampart). Only from 1854 does the designation Langgarter Wall appear. According to a city map from 1945, the western part of this street was called Długi Wał (Long Rampart), while the eastern part was called Długa Grobla (Long Dam). After a few years the second designation was extended to cover the entire street.
