Rennerstiftsgasse

The Rennerstiftsgasse is a newly laid-out street, named in 1908 after the adjoining Rennerstift (Renner Foundation). The Rennerstift was a charitable endowment -- one of many such foundations in Danzig -- that provided housing for citizens in need.
