Trojangasse

Seredyńskiego

History

A newly laid-out street from Langgarten to Englischer Damm, named in 1909 after the Danzig-born writer Johannes Trojan (1837–1914). After the war it was called ul. Skotnicka (Cowherd Lane) until at least 1959. It was then renamed after the former director of the Polish Commercial School located on this street, Marian Seredyński (1890–1959).
